Questions about destinations
Which countries does Find Travel Partner cover?
We have full guides for 102 countries across six continents, and you can post a trip for any city in the world, guide or not. Use the search above to check a specific country, or filter by continent.
How do I find a travel partner for a specific country?
Open that country's guide and you will see the open trips posted there and the travelers going soon. If nobody matches yet, post your own trip with your dates. Most matches come from a posted trip, not from browsing.
Is the visa check official?
No. It is a quick answer with a link to the official government source, and the official source is the one that counts. Rules change without notice, so always confirm there before you book anything.
Where do the costs in a guide come from?
They are typical costs for a budget traveler: a bed and food. They are a rough guide for comparing countries, not a quote, and they do not include flights.
What if no one has posted a trip to my country yet?
Post yours first. A posted trip is visible to everyone searching that country, and open trips are what pull travelers to a destination. You can keep up to 5 trips open at once, and editing or cancelling costs nothing.
