Delete your account and data

You can delete your Find Travel Partner account yourself, at any time, without asking us. This page explains how, exactly what goes, and what to do if you can no longer sign in.

If you can sign in

  1. 1. Sign in and open Settings.
  2. 2. Scroll to Delete account.
  3. 3. Choose Delete my account and confirm twice.

The same option is in the mobile apps, under Settings.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@findtravelpartner.com from the address on the account. We verify the request belongs to you before deleting anything — otherwise anyone who knew your email could erase your account — and complete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Immediately and permanently:

  • · Your profile, photo, bio and preferences
  • · Trips you posted, and the join requests on them
  • · Conversations and messages you sent
  • · Community posts, comments and reactions
  • · Follows, matches and saved interests
  • · Visa and concierge requests, and their documents
  • · Your sign-in credentials

What we keep, and why

  • · Payment and tax records. Kept as long as the law requires, and held by our payment processor rather than on your profile.
  • · Safety records. If your account was reported or banned, we keep enough to stop the same person returning. Deleting an account is not a way to clear a ban.
  • · Messages other people received. A conversation belongs to both sides; your copy goes, and what someone else was sent stays in their inbox.

Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Cancel a subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel it — Stripe, Apple or Google holds it, not us, and it would keep billing with nobody attached. See Subscription Terms.

Deletion cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no backup we can restore from — if you come back, you start fresh.

Want a break instead of leaving?

Turning yourself off in search hides your profile without deleting anything, and you can turn it back on whenever you like.
