Why this matters
Every year, countless trips are postponed, downgraded or quietly abandoned — not because of money or time, but for the simplest reason of all: there was no one to go with. A friend's plans fell through. A partner could not get the days off. The dream of Patagonia, the Camino or a month in Southeast Asia slipped another year into the future.
We think that is a quiet tragedy, and an entirely solvable one. The desire to travel is universal; the difficulty is almost always in the logistics of companionship. There are millions of people on any given week planning a trip to the same region, in the same season, in the same spirit — and almost no trustworthy way for them to find one another.

How we measure success
We are deliberately uninterested in the numbers most platforms brag about. A giant member count means nothing if those members are strangers no one can trust, and downloads are easy to inflate. The metrics that actually tell us whether we are succeeding are quieter and harder to fake.
We ask ourselves: are real, verified travelers finding companions whose plans genuinely match theirs? Do people feel safer setting off because of us? Are trips happening that would otherwise have been cancelled? Do members come back for their next journey, and the one after that? When the answer to those questions is yes, the rest takes care of itself.
