Questions

Using a valid Schengen visa

Which countries can a Bangladeshi passport holder visit with a valid Schengen visa?

29 in our rules: Albania, Mexico, Taiwan, Türkiye, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, Egypt, El Salvador, and more. Each one carries its own conditions, and several need the visa to be multiple-entry or already used at least once.

What does NOT work with a valid Schengen visa?

A US, UK, Japanese, Australian, Canadian or Schengen visa gets me 14 days in the Philippines. That rule exists, but it is written for Indian and Chinese nationals only. Does the visa need to be used already?

For some of them, yes, and it is the condition people miss most often. Albania, Saudi Arabia and Egypt all want a visa you have actually travelled on, and the border asks for the entry stamp that proves it. Others want a multiple-entry visa, and a few want six months of validity left on arrival. The checker on this page sorts the list by which of those you meet.
