Does not work, however often you read otherwise(4)

“A US, UK, Japanese, Australian, Canadian or Schengen visa gets me 14 days in the Philippines.”
That rule exists, but it is written for Indian and Chinese nationals only. It does not extend to a Bangladeshi passport, and the airline will check at boarding.

“Holding a strong visa gets me into Singapore without applying.”
No held visa changes anything for Singapore on a Bangladeshi passport. You apply for the eVisa or at the mission the same way regardless of what else is in your passport.

“Holding a strong visa gets me into Malaysia without applying.”
No held visa changes anything for Malaysia on a Bangladeshi passport. You apply for the eVisa or at the mission the same way regardless of what else is in your passport.

“Holding a strong visa gets me into Thailand without applying.”
No held visa changes anything for Thailand on a Bangladeshi passport. You apply for the eVisa or at the mission the same way regardless of what else is in your passport.
Visa rules change without notice. The airline at check-in and the immigration officer at the border make the final decision, and a waiver is never a guarantee of entry. Confirm on the official source before you book anything.
Yours is probably not the textbook version
Single-entry, never used, or expiring soon: each of those changes the list. Nothing you enter is stored.

Does the visa need to be used already?
For some of them, yes, and it is the condition people miss most often. Albania, Saudi Arabia and Egypt all want a visa you have actually travelled on, and the border asks for the entry stamp that proves it. Others want a multiple-entry visa, and a few want six months of validity left on arrival. The checker on this page sorts the list by which of those you meet.
