Safety Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
Safety is at the heart of Find Travel Partner. This policy explains how we work to keep the community safe, what we expect from members, how we handle reports — and the important role you play in your own safety.
1. Our commitment to safety
Find Travel Partner exists to help people connect and travel together safely. We invest in verification, safety tools and moderation to reduce risk and build trust. Safety is a shared responsibility: we provide the tools and standards, and members help by being honest, respectful and alert.
2. Verification & trust
Every member is encouraged and, for key actions, required to verify their identity. Identity and email verification — and the verified badge — are free for everyone. Verification is the single most important safety feature on the platform, because it removes the biggest unknown in meeting someone new: whether they are who they say they are.
3. Community standards
All members must follow our Community Guidelines and Content Policy. These set clear expectations for respectful, honest and lawful behavior across profiles, messages and the community feed.
4. Prohibited behavior
The following are strictly prohibited and may lead to removal from the platform:
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, hate speech or abuse;
- Fraud, scams, or requests for money, gifts or financial information;
- Impersonation, fake or misleading profiles, or sharing false information;
- Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual or inappropriate content;
- Sharing others' private information without consent;
- Any illegal activity or use of the platform to facilitate harm.
5. Reporting & enforcement
If a member makes you uncomfortable or breaks the rules, you can block and report them. Reports are confidential and reviewed by our team. Depending on the situation, we may issue a warning, remove content, restrict features, suspend the account, or permanently remove the member. We act to protect the community first.
6. Meeting & traveling safely
When you decide to meet or travel with another member, your safety is in your hands. We strongly encourage you to follow our Travel Safety Guide: keep early conversations on-platform, meet in a public place first, tell someone you trust your plans, stay independent until trust is built, and trust your instincts.
7. What we can — and can't — do
We verify member identities and provide safety tools, but we do not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee any member's conduct, intentions or character. Verification confirms identity; it does not replace your own judgment. Please use the same caution you would when meeting anyone new.
8. Off-platform conduct
While our tools operate on the platform, serious off-platform conduct involving members may also be considered when we assess safety and take enforcement action, to the extent we are able and where appropriate.
9. Cooperation with law enforcement
We may cooperate with law enforcement and respond to lawful requests where required, and we may share information to help protect the safety of our members or the public, consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10. Emergencies
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, always contact local emergency services first. Our team cannot provide emergency response. After you are safe, please also report the incident to us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Safety Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date when we do, and your continued use of the Service means you accept the current version.
